As an introduction to my blog, I thought it would be fun to list some personal questions and answers all about me. Hope you enjoy! ♡
Where are you from? England. Born in Kent and currently live in Southampton.
Do you have a middle name? Yes, my middle name is Louise.
What was your favourite subject in school? Drama and I really wish I pursued it when I moved to sixth form but life just gets in the way. On a side note, Joel and I couldn’t believe it’s been 10 years since we finished school!
What’s your favourite drink? A lovely hot cup of tea in the Winter and a cool lemonade with lots of ice in the Summer!
Favourite songs at the moment? Army by Ellie Goulding. It’s such a great empowering song and I’m constantly playing it loudly in my car! I’ve also been loving Lucid Dream by Lucid Dreaming World – Collective Unconscious Mind. I listened to this pretty much every day of my honeymoon and now every time I play it I think of Mauritius ♡ I love Spotify and finding little hidden gems like this one.
What would you name your children? Flynn or Theodore (Theo) for a boy and Penelope (Penny) or Darcy for a girl but Joel’s vetoed pretty much every name I like, so we’ll see!
Favourite book? It has to be the Harry Potter books, especially ‘Half-Blood Prince’ and/or ‘Deathly Hallows’. I also love an easy-read summer book and ‘On the Island’ by Tracey Garvis Graves is one I can read over and over again.
Favourite colour? Baby Pink
Favourite perfume? Chanel Chance
Favourite time of year? Easter because everything is floral and cute and bunnies… and the weather is not too hot or too cold. It’s a gorgeous time of year.
Have you been out of the country? Yes, I was very lucky growing up that my parents were able to take me and my sister to some amazing places like Barbados, Florida and New York. We also grew up with a house in Spain and travelled through France to Spain a load of times with family friends. Italy has to be my favourite place so far.
Do you speak any other languages? I speak a bit of Spanish but I’m really out of touch!
What’s your favourite shop? Zara. There isn’t one in Winchester though (where I work) which makes me sad but my bank account stays happy. Next Home is a close 2nd favourite… I’m determined my house is going to look like it’s out of one of their catalogues.
Favourite restaurant? Wagamamas. Their food is always great, as well as the service! I always get the Yatsai Katsu Curry… it’s delicious!
Favourite movie? Back to the Future. It’s just so nostalgic for me. This was the movie I watched constantly growing up! And yes… I did celebrate October 21st 2015… didn’t you?! 🙂
Favourite TV show? For me… there’s only one TV show that stands out by far among all others that came before and after it… and that is… LOST. It was an incredible journey we went on with the Oceanic 815 survivors. It was far-fetched, crazy, confusing, fast-paced, beautiful… I just flipping loved it and was hooked during every episode. I’ve been taking a break from it for a while, so this year might be the right time to re-visit it and watch them all over again.
PC or Mac? I saved up and bought my first Macbook in 2006! Never looked back since!
What phone do you have? iPhone 6 in white.
What do you order at Starbucks? Hot chocolate every time… which is probably once a year! 🙂
One thing in your closet you cannot live without? My beige loose cardigan I got from Zara. It goes with every outfit and I can just throw it on when in a hurry. It’s also not too heavy to carry around if I change my mind!
What is the one thing you want to do before you die? I’ve always wanted to watch a space shuttle launch in Florida and take photographs in Yosemite; like Ansel Adams.
What’s one food you cannot live without? Pizza. Specifically… Dominoes Pizza. Veggie Supreme… Mmmmm!!
What quote/phrase do you live by? If it doesn’t add to your life, it doesn’t belong in your life.
What’s your most listened to song on itunes? At The Beach by David Wingo. I loved the movie Take Shelter and this soundtrack is amazing and so haunting. I think I must have just always had it on repeat after watching it. Played 89 times so far!
Guilty Pleasures? Reality TV, especially Big Brother and Americas Next Top Model.
Well there you have it, a little bit more about me and fun to look back on and update every year to see if I’ve changed! I can’t see my pizza choices changing anytime soon though… 😛
